JAKARTA -President Prabowo Subianto has reaffirmed his strong commitment to eradicating corruption in Indonesia. On several official occasions, Prabowo emphasized that he will show no mercy to those found guilty of embezzling public funds.

In an interview conducted by Bitv with several community leaders, many expressed that corruption under the previous administration, led by President Joko Widodo, occurred on a massive scale. The public now hopes that Prabowo's administration will firmly act against corrupt officials.

"President Prabowo must dare to take down officials who steal the people's money. We are ready to support his administration, as long as it is run honestly and in accordance with the oath of office," said one community leader.

Attorney General's Office Raids Sritex CEO's Home, Seizes IDR 2 Billion

Separately, the Attorney General's Office (AGO) continues to demonstrate concrete steps in combating corruption. On Monday (June 30), investigators raided the home of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk (Sritex) President Director, Iwan Kurniawan Lukminto.

During the raid, investigators seized IDR 2 billion in cash and several important documents. This was confirmed by the AGO's Head of Legal Information Center, Harli Siregar, on Tuesday (July 1, 2025).

"In the raid, investigators seized documents and a substantial amount of cash," said Harli.

He detailed that the IDR 2 billion was divided into two bundles, each containing IDR 100,000 denomination notes. Each bundle had a label from Bank Central Asia (BCA) Solo Branch, dated March 20, 2024, and May 13, 2024, respectively.

Further Raids at Multiple Locations

On the same day, investigators also searched the home of former Sritex Finance Director, identified as AMS, and confiscated documents along with two mobile phones. At the residence of CKN, Sritex's Treasury Manager in Margoyudan Village, Surakarta, no evidence related to the case was found.

The AGO also raided several companies allegedly affiliated with Sritex, including PT Sari Warna Asli Textile Industry, PT Multi Internasional Logistic, and PT Senang Kharisma Textile in Karanganyar Regency. From these sites, investigators seized documents and electronic evidence, including flash drives.

"Today, investigators are also conducting a search at the Sritex office. The process is still ongoing," Harli added.
