Every attempt to stop Israel is blocked by a veto in the Security Council. This is undeniable proof that the UN cannot enforce the decisions it makes.

3. When Powerful Nations Invade, the UN Becomes a Spectator

The United States invaded Iraq under the claim of "weapons of mass destruction." After all these years, such weapons were never found—yet the country was destroyed, millions displaced, and long-term instability persists.

Who was held accountable?
No one.

Afghanistan, Vietnam, Libya, and other nations have faced similar interventions by great powers—interventions with little to no consequences.

Each time, the UN remained as nothing more than a commentator.

4. When Governments Kill Their Own People

The recent crisis in Bangladesh—where former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was sentenced to death following the deadly crackdown against protesters in 2024—reveals once again the UN's confused and selective stance.

Thousands of casualties were reported by international NGOs, human rights groups, and the media. Yet the UN focused more on condemning the court's decision rather than addressing the mass killings that came before it.

This raises a troubling question:
Is the UN truly standing for justice, or merely maintaining political comfort for certain states?
